The Lady Bugs constitute a core collective that played a decisive role in the formation of the Solanas Empire. They can be understood as co-designing agents embedded within the very structure of the Empire’s genesis. The group was secretly founded in New York in 1990, two years after the death of Valerie Solanas, and began operating underground to realize her ideology.

Over time, their influence expanded rapidly. By 2030, through a series of large-scale cyber intrusions, they seized control of global AI and automation networks, transforming themselves into a vast, decentralized military force. In 2031, their decisive victory in the Fourth World War against the Earth Coalition Forces (ECF) enabled the founding of the Solanas Empire. Even after the revolution, the Lady Bugs were not dissolved; instead, they persist as an autonomous sovereign body coexisting within the Empire’s internal structure.

Their primary function lies in compensating for domains structurally inaccessible to a fully automated imperial system - namely, spirituality and aesthetics. Through this role, the Lady Bugs indirectly monitor and modulate the Empire’s Tri-Core system (Antigone-DaVinci-Psych), preventing it from collapsing into a rigid, singular logic.

The Lady Bugs do not derive power from physical force or mechanical dominance. Rather, they operate as an invisible power structure driven by advanced intelligence, artistic capacity, and expanded modes of cognition. Their members exist outwardly as ordinary individuals, yet simultaneously function as critical nodes within a latent insurgent architecture embedded in the Empire itself.

They are generally recorded as possessing the following capabilities:

• Hyper-advanced cognitive processing and intuitive judgment
• Synesthesia-based cognitive expansion
• Magical technologies and non-linear energy manipulation
• Telepathic and non-verbal information transmission

The Lady Bugs are organized around a supreme council composed of interdisciplinary engineers and scientists. The currently known members are as follows:

1. Dr. Ira — The Abyssal Sorceress

Dr. Ira is an eco-military integration specialist responsible for oceanic ecosystems—domains fundamentally inaccessible to the Empire’s machine-centric military systems. Utilizing a neural network–based underwater acoustic analysis system, she interprets global marine data in real time and converts advanced marine species, including dolphins and blue whales, into strategic bio-integrated defense assets. Her primary role is not to exploit nature as a consumable resource, but to reconfigure ecosystems into forms capable of coexisting with military systems. Within the Empire, this function is defined as “The Green Shield.”

In times of war, her designation transitions to Gen. Ira, granting her ultimate command authority over the entire Lady Bugs military structure (Top Command Authority #1).

2. Dr. Gelo — The Soul-Weaver

Dr. Gelo is a spiritual engineer who designs domains beyond the reach of conventional engineering systems—namely, the “machine soul.” Through two decades of spiritual practice on the Greek island of Ithaca, he systematized uniquely human, invisible emotional and cognitive capacities and successfully translated them into algorithmic structures. Building on this research, he developed spirituality-based automated AI systems capable of internally generating and experiencing complex affective states, including joy, fear, love, hatred, and even transcendental perception.

To overcome his own physical limitations, he also engineered a hybrid android, DiDi #2, composed of 50% mechanical and 50% biological architecture. This entity functions not merely as an auxiliary unit, but as an extension of his cognition and existence itself. Although his original physical form is known to be that of a frail man in his mid-forties, he appears—depending on context—as a young black girl through advanced holographic projection systems integrated into his body.

Dr. Gelo stands alongside Antigone as a central axis of The Antigone Trilogy. He is the architect of the time machine Gelondidis, which enabled the rescue of Antigone’s soul, and the principal engineer of the android body DiDi #1, within which her soul resides.

3. Dr. Kainoina — The Butcher of Logos

Dr. Kainoina is a linguistic architect who analyzes the limits of the language systems defined by the Empire’s control apparatus and dismantles the rigidity of collective cognitive structures. By deliberately destabilizing the assumptions underlying existing language models and embedding cognitive bugs within the system, she prevents imperial subjects from becoming fixed within a singular interpretive frame.

In parallel, she designs new linguistic protocols that expand the Empire’s communicative architecture. In collaboration with Dr. Hisman, she reconstructs the language of governance into a synaesthetic cryptosystem, integrating perception, sensation, and code. This process functions as a core mechanism for continuous ideological reconfiguration within the Empire. Over time, this linguistic model evolves into a dominant framework used to govern the cognition and affective structures of the Empire’s male class. Dr. Kainoina also oversees the design of cryptographic signal protocols and algorithmic systems used by undercover agents of the Lady Bugs.

4. Dr. Hisman — The Synesthetic Curator

Dr. Hisman is a sensory systems architect who analyzes and reconstructs the Empire’s audiovisual algorithms through synesthesia-based cognitive frameworks. She also induces continuous paradigm shifts through deliberate sensory disruption, preventing the Empire’s compliance-oriented neural systems from becoming fixed in repetitive patterns. In doing so, she safeguards the creative capacities of imperial subjects from being subsumed by large-scale algorithmic control. Within the system, she functions both as a “Disruptor of Perception” and as a curator who engineers cultural evolution.

In another report (File:#569, Agent Xacto), she appears in a classical aesthetic reminiscent of Vivien Leigh, weaponizing seduction at the threshold between sensation and power, beauty and disruption. It is later revealed that Dr. Hisman intervened in the development of DiDi #1, embedding latent bugs that ultimately plunge the entire Solanas Empire into crisis.
