The project 'Void Loop Crave' is a series of paintings and drawings that reflect the idea and aesthetic of the original work 'I Want To', which explores how human desire is presented, recurring, negotiated, and internalized in contemporary digital media. All messages beginning with 'I want to' in the following works are what users on Twitter left, collected through the Twitter API between 2011 and 2015. By reading, sympathizing with, and crossing off these messages through artistic practice, this work suggests a space for understanding the recurring void of human desire.
